Refund Policy

Version 1 · Published 4 October 2026

This document is awaiting final legal review.

Effective date: 4 October 2026.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Bokeh Club Australia's digital photography products. The business is operated by James Angele, ABN 80 975 806 472, based in Victoria, Australia. For purchase or refund enquiries, email bokehclubau@outlook.com.

The website is currently a preview and purchases are not open. This policy sets out the refund and support arrangements for digital purchases when checkout becomes available. Delivery or return terms for any future physical product will be disclosed separately before that product can be ordered.

Your consumer rights

Products and services supplied to Australian consumers are subject to applicable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights cannot be removed by this policy, by downloading a file or by a statement that a product is digital.

A product must meet the applicable guarantees, including matching its description and being of acceptable quality. If there is a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the problem is not major, we may provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time; further rights may arise if the problem is not remedied. The remedy depends on the product and circumstances and the applicable law.

There is no blanket “no refunds after download” rule. We do not impose a time limit that removes statutory consumer rights or require you to waive those rights to receive support.

Problems with delivery or files

Contact us if payment has succeeded but the purchased resources are missing, a file is corrupt or unusable, an advertised inclusion is absent, or the product materially differs from its description. We will investigate the problem and, as appropriate, restore access, provide the correct or replacement files, or arrange a refund or another remedy required by law.

If a signed download link has expired, sign in and obtain a new link from My Library. If you cannot access the email used for an order, contact us; we will need to verify ownership before moving access to another address.

Change of mind and duplicate purchases

We do not offer an automatic change-of-mind refund guarantee for digital products. However, you can contact us if you bought the wrong pack or accidentally placed a duplicate order, and we will consider the circumstances. This discretionary assistance does not replace or limit a remedy you are entitled to under law.

Higher-tier packs deliberately include resources from lower tiers. That overlap is described on the product pages; contact us before buying if you are unsure which pack you need.

Requesting a refund

Email us with:

  • Your order number, if available, and the email used at checkout.
  • The product purchased and the date of purchase.
  • A clear description of the problem and the remedy you are requesting.
  • Relevant screenshots or other information that helps explain the issue, with sensitive details removed.

If you cannot find an order number, provide other reasonable proof of purchase. We will not insist on an original receipt where another form of proof is sufficient. Do not email passwords, sign-in links, full card details or identity documents unless a necessary and safe verification process has been agreed.

We will acknowledge and assess your request within a reasonable period. If more information or investigation is needed, we will explain the next steps. Contacting the payment provider is not a substitute for our responsibility to consider a consumer remedy.

Processing an approved refund

We normally refund to the original payment method through the payment provider, unless another lawful arrangement is agreed. Once we have submitted the refund, the time for it to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank. We will confirm the amount and explain any relevant processing information. We will not require store credit instead of a monetary refund where you are legally entitled to a refund.

Download access and promotional entries

A full refund or final payment reversal may remove online access granted by the refunded purchase. Access arising from another valid purchase remains available. Partial refunds are assessed against the affected item and the applicable remedy.

Where an eligible purchase also received promotional entries, a refund or payment reversal may affect those entries under the terms published for that promotion. We will explain any adjustment. Opening a genuine complaint or asking for a refund does not itself forfeit a consumer right. Refund decisions are not conditional on withdrawing a legitimate complaint or review.

If a concern remains unresolved

Reply to our support correspondence and explain why you believe the issue remains unresolved. We will review the matter. You may also seek assistance from your state or territory consumer protection agency or another available dispute-resolution process. This policy does not prevent you exercising rights through your payment provider or under applicable law.

Our Product Terms, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy explain the related purchase, account and information-handling arrangements.
